Terms and Conditions

Last updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TheDoer.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

TheDoer.app connects people who need tasks done ("Originators") with people who can complete those tasks ("Doers"). The Service facilitates matching, communication, and payment for tasks. We do not employ Doers or guarantee the quality of any task; we provide a platform only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. The Service is intended for use in Nigeria and may be limited by jurisdiction.

4. Accounts and Conduct

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under your account. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Service. You must not harass, abuse, or harm other users, or use the Service for fraud or illegal activity.

5. Tasks, Payments and Fees

Tasks, pricing, and payment terms are agreed between Originators and Doers through the Service. TheDoer.app may charge fees for use of the platform as described in the Service or at the time of a transaction. All fees are subject to applicable taxes. Refunds and disputes are handled in accordance with our policies and, where applicable, through the in-app dispute process.

6. Intellectual Property

TheDoer.app and its logos, design, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or use our branding or content without prior written permission. You retain ownership of content you submit; by submitting content, you grant us a licence to use it to operate and promote the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheDoer.app and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any transactions between users. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for breach of these terms or for any other reason. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including liability limitations and dispute resolution) will survive termination.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

10. Contact
